Kent State graduate Lou Holtz returned to his alma mater on Wednesday as part of the university's Starner Distinguised Speaker Series.
The current ESPN college football analyst and member of the College Football Hall of Fame, graduated from Kent State in 1959 and is a member of the KSU Varsity "K" Hall of Fame.
In his speech entitled "If you didn't show up, who would miss you and why?" Holtz will share his life experiences with a sold-out crowd.
The Starner Distinguished Speaker Series showcases thriving former athletes who serve as an inspiration to current student-athletes.
Holtz is one of Kent State's most successful and well-known alumni. He is the only coach to lead six different football programs to bowl games and win the title of National Coach of the Year three times.
