CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced an updated football schedule Thursday, including seven kickoff times for Kent State. The Golden Flashes’ first of three weeknight game will be its season opener Thursday, Aug. 29 at Arizona State. The 10 p.m. (EST) kickoff can be seen on the Pac-12 Networks.
Three of the Flashes game times at Dix Stadium were released, beginning with a noon start for the home opener against Kennesaw State on Sept. 7, as part of Parents and Families Weekend. Two weeks later, Kent State will celebrate its homecoming with a 3:30 p.m. kickoff against Bowling Green.
Also included in the Flashes five-game home slate will be a 7 p.m. start against Buffalo on Thursday, Nov. 14, to be televised on CBS Sports Network. Nine days earlier (Nov. 5) the Flashes can be seen on either ESPN2 or CBS Sports Network for a Tuesday night matchup at Toledo.
Kent State will also play a night game in week 3 at Auburn with a 7 p.m. (EST) kick on either ESPN2 or ESPNU.
The battle for the Wagon Wheel on Oct. 12 will start at 3:30 p.m., inside InfoCision Stadium.
All remaining kick times will be announced 12 days prior to scheduled games.
