Muir named first team All-MAC

The Mid-American Conference announced the 2006 MAC All-Conference team on Monday. In all, 16 of the selections were repeated from last season led by Northern Illinois running back Garrett Wolfe. Wolfe won the Vern Smith Leadership Award, the conference's top individual honor.
Five Kent State players earned postseason honors, led by senior defensive lineman Daniel Muir, the Golden Flashes lone representative on the first team. Muir was a second team selection in 2005.
