Kent State makes it two in a row

KENT, Ohio (AP) - Spencer Keith threw for 281 yards and three touchdowns to help Kent State hold off Central Michigan 24-21 on Friday night.

Central Michigan had a chance to force overtime, but David Harman's 28-yard field-goal attempt sailed wide left on the final play.
Keith completed 17 of 31 passes and didn't have an interception for the Golden Flashes (3-7, 2-3 Mid-American). Matt Hurdle had three catches for 102 yards and a touchdown, and Trayion Durham ran for 90 yards on 18 carries.
Ryan Radcliff was 26 of 42 for 316 yards and three touchdowns for Central Michigan (3-7, 2-4). He also threw two interceptions. Titus Davis had 10 catches for 192 yards and two touchdowns for the Chippewas.
Keith threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Chris Gilbert to give Kent State a 21-14 lead early in the fourth quarter, and the Freddy Cortez added a 34-yard field with 7:27 left.
Radcliff cut it to 24-21 with a 52-yard touchdown pass to Davis with 5:52 remaining.
Kent State look a 14-0 lead on Keith's 15-yard touchdown pass to Jacquise Terry and 85-yarder to Hurdle. Radcliff countered for Central Michigan, throwing a 7-yard scoring pass to Courtney Williams and a 36-yarder to Davis with 1:26 left in the first half.
