It's about two hours before the game and the American flag in the SE corner of Dix Stadium has been very active today--it's windy!
The flag is swirling, which means Kent State has another defender against WMU's pass offense.
From what I hear, DB Chris Gilbert is out with a shoulder sprain. WR Derek McBryde also might be a late scratch.
Other than that I think the Flashes are pretty healthy.

Freshman K Freddy Cortez is testing the wind. He's had no trouble from 32 or 38 yards...although it looked like he just pushed one 38-yarder to the left, but I don't know for sure. I have a bad angle and there's no official giving the signal.
Game time temperatures are supposed to be in the 50's with a 17-20 mile per hour wind. The rain is supposed to stop.

WMU's starting WLB Austin Pritchard is out today, but the news isn't all bad for the Broncos. They get starting SS Mario Armstrong back today.

What crowd?
There might have been a bigger crowd of visiting recruits than there was KSU students.
The loss of Gilbert/McBryde hurt the Flashes a bit on special teams. McBryde/Gilbert are on the kickoff team.

Kent looks good besides the dropped pass for an INT.
