To understand the power of a positive mindset, you have to know what your mindset currently is and what a positive mindset looks like. A good example of positive thinking can be seen on EagleAction.com, the Rivals site for Boston College athletics. After each Boston College game, Nick Ironside, the staff writer writes his "Hot 11" column featuring the best performances by the BC offense and defense. Even after the Eagles' humiliating losses at Clemson and Virginia Tech, Ironside was able to find 11 positive things to say about the BC players and coaches. Hot 11 is just one example of positive thinking and there are plenty more just like it. All of us can learn to be more positive in our lives. It is something that can be acquired by anyone simply by making a decision to think differently. I hope the local media will continue to find positive things to say about Kent State football because positive thinking will bring positive results. All of us should try to remember that what we say and write can affect or influence others. Developing and manifesting a positive attitude brings optimism into life and makes life happier.

Great point. It is nice to see the media finding positives rather than negatives. And, unless you are a coach in a lopsided loss, there are always positive things that someone or a group of position players are doing that are good.

It seems as Kent is finally playing as a team. That is more than you can say in past seasons. I am looking forward to the rest of the season.
