Many people, including the OU announcers I was forced to listen to, won't understand why the KSU players dumped Gatorade on their coach.
No, the Flashes didn't clinch a MAC title or snap some odd losing streak.
But, since the Bowling Green game, the players have been challenged to compete in every game like it's a one-game MAC championship. Doug Martin, who didn't get much Gatorade out of the bucket, said it's fine his team reacted that way.
"That was nothing but ice," Martin said of the Gatorade dump. "I told (the players) to enjoy this win all the way back to Kent because once we get there it's all about Western Michigan. It's nothing but Kent State against Western Michigan; there's no reason to look ahead."

Those 2 OU announcers were as terrible to listen to as the constant replays (even during a live play) were to watch. Big deal, they doused the coach, they're excited over a road win in the league over a 10-point favorite that puts them a Toledo win tonight from being in 1st place - good for the kids! Now let's get down to business and gear up for WMU.
