Kent State is fortunate the game is just 3-3 at the half.
OU is fortunate the game is just 3-3 at the half.
Both teams have made some mistakes; Kent State's are more glaring, especially the fumble inside the 5.
That said,KSU's offense really has found a groove. Keith's passing has opened up some huge running lanes. If the Golden Flashes avoid the mistakes, I think they can pull out the win.
Sam Kirkland...having a very nice day.
Leneric Muldrow....wow!
I'd like to see more play action. The Flashes have been very successful there.
How nice is it to see a vertical passing game?
OU is 3-0 in the MAC and considered one of the favorites to win the division, and the Flashes are playing right with them. The KSU defense has been stout and they need another strong 30 minutes of play.
Lainhart's interception was a thing of beauty. The fumble was unfortunate, but was Ohio's best play of the day!
It's the Flashes game if they want it.

Steve, are you in Athens or watching it on K-Zone?

I couldn't make the trip. I'm home....with my laptop connected to my 50" TV...it's pretty cool. But,I'd rather be there. The OU announcers are awful.
A sample:
They called Matt Hurdle Adam Richey, then later they called him Sal Battles. They called Jon Simpson Joe Simpson and on the holding call on Konz, they said it was uncatchable because he was the slowest of the wide receivers in the formation. I guess they don't know Konz is the fastest (or one of them now) of the wide receivers.
They called a false start a hold too.
Awful and painful to listen to.

Steve, I couldn't agree with you more. We need this one and can't allow it to slip out of our grasp.
