I know Steve was at the game and has been busy with the Official Sports Report and should have some excellent coverage up soon. Until then, we got Kent State football coverage over here. Check it out.
I'm glad KSU took care of their business and beat an EMU program trying to find their way. Not dominating, not always pretty, but solid. It feels good.
Absolutely a win is a win and it definitely was not pretty. Keith made some freshman mistakes, locking in a receiver who was double covered, deep in EMU territory and missed some other throws. Hopefully he got his bad game out of the way, learns from his mistakes, and comes out ready to perform/lead in the OU game, because they are going to need him to play smart and make plays. OU will not give the game away, KSU is going to have to flat out beat OU, because since Frank Solich has been there, they play good, fundamental football. Having said that, KSU has beaten OU a few times the last few years, so they can be beaten.
