i was actually at the george mason game, the ipfw game and i traveled to carolina too. our team looks solid this year.

11/13 7:09 PM whats up man. its been a while since you posted on my page and i failed to get back to you. sorry about that. i havent checked my profile in a couple months. i was not at the kent osu game nor have i seen any Kent games what so ever this year. im in mourning as this is the first time since i was enrolled at kent i will miss more then 2 home games for both football and basketball in the same season combined. thats kinda how it goes when you move out of state. but i will be at the Kent unc game.
I was in the Kent State Marching and Flasher Brass Bands from 1995-2002. So I indeed saw alot of bad football. But I always stuck with my school. Now, seeing our athletic teams on an upswing makes me the proudest Kent alumni alive!

I am engaged to a wonderful woman, Monica. My mom is about to be a retired educator and is going to start RVing with my step-dad. My brother is a cop in Bowling Green.
God first became real tome when I was 5 years old and survived a very difficult brain surgery. At that point I realized that God existed, he made everything and that he loved me. The brain damage from the operation brought on tension tremors in my left arm, which was more visible in grade school than now. Because of this I was teased a lot in school. I still went to church weekly, hoping that God could take care of the bullies in my school.
But it wasn’t until the summer after I graduated, when one of my best friends asked me if I wanted to go to Alive. I thought it would be fun, so I said sure. At Alive I made a half-hearted commitment to become a Christian. However, I still lived my life for myself and only for God when it was optimal.
I went to KSU, where I participated in the marching band, a fraternity and campus ministries. It was nice because I found a balance between talking church-ese around certain people and could “cut-lose” around others.
In the middle of college I got into a serious relationship with a non-Christian girl. I thought that if I cared enough, I could surely get her to go to church with me. However, she soon became the center of my life. I soon became very self-centered and pretty much all my association with church stopped. The opposite in what I hoped for in our relationship had happened. After dating seriously for 2 years, she admitted to cheating on me. My world seemed to have collapsed.
Soon after I found myself at church. The Priest was talking about God’s love and how Christ was the only person who would never leave me. That day I made a whole-hearted commitment to love and serve God.
After that I got back involved in campus ministries and other bible studies. My activities in band and fraternity decreased, although those people will always be some of my best friends. Through serving God, a more clear purpose has revealed to me. I realize now that I am put on this earth to help kids, not to live for myself. Because I am a single adult, I can dedicate more of my time to what I am gifted for. Right now God is also using my bad experiences in growing up in Special Ed for good, by helping other kids with handicaps. I can also rest in the fact that God will always be in control of my life and that he will never leave me.

As a member of Kent State's Alumni Band I watched us rip up a good Toledo program, plus whipping Akron the week before.
Traveling with the marching band in 1997 to EMU where we beat a favored Eastern Mich team in OT. In 1998 traveling to the Naval Academy. No, we didn't win, but what an awsome experience. (If you are a partiotic person, you have to see a game there)

As a member of Kent State's Alumni Band I watched us rip up a good Toledo program, plus whipping Akron the week before.

Not to mention that when you win in the NCAA Tournament, the locals love you (bars letting you in free, all the hotel ammentities you can imagine, people trying to buy my Flasher Brass jersey for $300). Other NCAA trips I was on include: 2001 Men's NCAA (San Diego), 2000 Women's NCAA (Knoxville), 2000 Men's NIT (State College), 1999 Men's NCAA (Boston), 1998 Women's NCAA (Ames), 1996 Women's NCAA (State College).

Favorite Team:Cleveland Indians Favorite Coach:Mike Hargrove Favorite Moments: Watching the 1995 and 1997 World Series from outside Jacob's Field. It really was a partying way to watch the game. Also, in 2005 I went with 3 bussloads of urban middle-school students to an opening week game. It was definately an experience!
Aeros (Minor League) Baseball and anything doing with the Olympics. I also coach track and cross country.
