Beat Toledo on the road, and secure a much needed MAC West win to start conference play. With divisional games being the only ones that count the Broncos needed to end their near two decade drought in Toledo. When the smoke had settled (or maybe the fog lifted) over the Glass Bowl, Western had that much needed win 42-28. The Broncos won in convincing fashion, overpowering the Rockets at the line of scrimmage, and slowing Toledo's offense to a crawl. Broncoblitz contributing photographer Gary Shook was in Toledo.
