NU's offensive line continues to make upgrades
One position that continues to make upgrades each year under head coach Bill Callahan is the offensive line.
As Nebraska heads into summer conditioning, they have the best group of linemen they've ever had under Callahan, and it's only going to get better each year.
Here's a complete breakdown and grade out of the offensive line heading into summer conditioning.
Overall grade: B
Even without Chris Patrick on the roster and sophomore Jacob Hickman and juniors Mike Huff and Andy Christensen out with injury, Nebraska's offensive line was still in good shape this spring.
Junior Matt Slauson made a smooth transition to guard this spring and redshirt freshman Keith Williams got several reps with the No. 1 offense due to the injuries to Christensen, Huff and Hickman.
Williams has a big time career ahead of him at Nebraska and don't be surprised if he makes a strong run for the starting left guard spot in training camp.
At tackle, Nebraska is a little thin, but both junior Lydon Murtha and senior Carl Nicks had good spring and redshirt freshmen D.J. Jones and Mike Smith have bright futures ahead of them as well.
