Big weekend for Joe

WVSports.com MORGANTOWN--A pulsating 4 1/2-minute stint was just what Bob Huggins ordered from reserve guard Joe Mazzulla as Mazzulla's efforts led to the 6th-ranked Mountaineers' seventh straight victory without a loss Saturday night before 10,121 fans at the Coliseum Saturday night. "I know my role," Mazzulla said after the easy 69-43 victory over Coppin State. "My role is to come in and pick up the team. That's what I do." Mazzulla gave the sluggish Mountaineers some sizzle, but a technical foul on Coppin State guard Lenny Young proved to be the impetus 6th-ranked West Virginia needed Saturday night as the Gold and Blue put away its sixth opponent by double figures.
